

Founded in 2005, Jumpstart is a program administered by the Canadian Tire Corporation that helps kids overcome financial and accessibility barriers to sport and recreation in an effort to provide inclusive play for kids of all abilities.This is done through funding provided by donations. KidSport Ottawa is a local chapter of a national organization that accepts applications and administers grants of up to $250 per child/year for sports activities, for kids who live in Ottawa.

Jays Care Foundation is a non-profit administered by the Toronto Blue Jays with the prupose of growing the game of baseball across Canada. This includes the First Pitch Fund , a program for eligible children of up to $350 per child to cover or offset baseball or softball registration fees.

An official partner of Little League International, the Positive Coaching Alliance provides research-based training and resources for coaches, parents, athletes, and leaders to ensure a positive youth development experience for ALL kids, in all communities across the U.S., through sports. PCA ensures sports are ‘done right’ designed to have impact at three levels in a youth sports organization or school:
YOUTH experience improved life skills and character development.
COACHES become more positive and increase their focus on using sports to teach life lessons.
YOUTH SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS AND SCHOOLS see their cultures become more positive and everyone involved has more fun.
