Buying Bats:
We provide team bats at every level, but players are welcome to bring their own bats as long as they meet the Little League standards implemented in 2018.  Read the information below and there's lots of information online.  Be sure not to confuse the USABat criteria with the USSA bat standards.  Look for the USABat logo on the bat itself - if it's not there, it isn't acceptable. Please ask your coach or a league official if you are unsure. Local sporting good stores should be familiar with LL standards. Our preferred supplier Houle Sports Excellence can assist you.

USABat Standard bats must be used in the Major and below divisions. Either USABat or BBCOR bats must be used in Intermediate and Junior divisions. At the Senior division, all bats must meet the BBCOR standard. So while the information on some of these websites may be helpful for determine the size of bat you should purchase, you must make sure that bat you purchase is a "legal" bat, otherwise your player will not be allowed to use it for games or practices.

Equipment that is not permitted

LL removed the rule that disallowed jewellery, however we encourage athletes and parents to use good judgment. Where possible we suggest athletes not wear jewellery, or choose items that avoid the possibility of injury. The umpire has the discretion to ask an athlete to remove jewellery and their decision is final.  Medic Alert bracelets are always acceptable.
